Marañuela

Marañuela tinto comes from a black listán vineyard that has been applying regenerative and environmentally friendly viticulture techniques for decades. Its vines, located in La Perdoma, in the Orotava Valley, are over 40 years old (some of them even centenarians) and were planted following the traditional method of the area known as 'braided cord'.

Natural wine with native yeast, pressed and fermented without mechanical intervention.

Marañuela tinto is a natural wine, crushed together with the stems and fermented in an open vat. The resulting must was pressed with wood and rope, and the separation was carried out by gravity, without mechanical intervention. Only native yeasts from our vineyard were used during its elaboration.

Marañuela

Wine bottled in February 2023, aged in used French oak barrels.

Before its bottling in early February 2023 in locally produced bottles made with 70% recycled glass, Marañuela tinto remained mostly in stainless steel tanks, also undergoing a light passage through used French oak barrels. The clarification and filtration of this wine was always carried out by natural settling.

Marañuela has been bottled and labeled manually.
